On May 18, the Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to disseminate and implement Directive No. 11/CT-TM, dated April 12, 2023 of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on improving the quality of regularization and discipline management in the entire army. Over 100 officers and soldiers from agencies and unit commanders attended.

The leaders of the Provincial Border Guard require Party committees and commanders of units to focus on leading and directing the serious and effective implementation of directives, orders, and plans on building regular units, complying with discipline and laws; carry out political and ideological education well, strictly maintain Party and political work regimes, ensure the cultural institutional system, and do a good job of material management. At the same time, promote democracy, set an example for cadres at all levels, maintain internal solidarity, strictly manage discipline for soldiers in the unit, weapons, and equipment to contribute to improving overall quality and combat readiness; build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and gradually modern army.
