Mr. Nguyen Sy Hiep was born in 1974, hometown Nam Dinh province, is a Master of Science specializing in International Trade and Integration Economics.

Mr. Hiep was appointed Deputy Head of the Government Office from September 2014.

Before being appointed as Deputy Head of the Government Office, Mr. Hiep held the position of Assistant to the Prime Minister, Head of the Department of Secretariat - Editing, Government Office.
