Minister Nguyen Van Hung met and rewarded U.23 Vietnam after their historic victory.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung will meet with the Vietnam U.23 team at 9:00 a.m. on August 1 and is expected to represent leaders at all levels to present worthy rewards to the champion of the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament.

The meeting to commend U.23 Vietnam took place on August 1st.

After the Vietnam U.23 team excellently won the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung will meet and congratulate the team on August 1 in Hanoi .

The meeting aimed to recognize and commend the efforts and brave fighting spirit of the young players under the guidance of coach Kim Sang-sik, and to encourage the team spirit after a successful journey at the regional youth tournament.

According to the plan, Minister Nguyen Van Hung will directly present certificates of merit to the Vietnam U.23 team and individuals with outstanding achievements. Leaders of the Vietnam Sports Department, the Vietnam Football Federation and representatives of relevant units will also attend this meeting.

The 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship has just ended with a well-deserved championship for U.23 Vietnam, after impressive performances and stable form throughout the tournament. This achievement not only affirms the position of Vietnamese youth football in the region, but also creates an important premise towards higher goals in the future.
