MICE tourism is becoming one of the fastest growing sectors of the tourism industry. According to data from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the number of MICE visitors in the first quarter of 2024 increased by 35% compared to the same period in 2023. Currently, Vietnam is a potential destination for MICE tourism in the region. Mordor Intelligence also forecasts that the MICE industry in Vietnam could reach 7.79 billion USD in 2025 and continue to grow to 10.75 billion USD in 2030.

This research unit also stated that the hotel industry plays an important role in promoting the development of MICE in Vietnam.
