Ca Mau cooperates in comprehensive digital transformation strategy

On September 17, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province and FPT Corporation signed a comprehensive digital transformation cooperation agreement to mobilize resources to build a digital platform, improve the effectiveness of government management and administration, and promote the development of the digital economy and digital society.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, said that the signing of the agreement is the first step in implementing actions to jointly develop a specific plan. FPT will transfer technological advances, especially in the fields of telecommunications and information technology, as well as train quality human resources, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals set out in the Central resolutions and plans, promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Ca Mau province.

Regarding digital transformation, FPT will coordinate to review and evaluate the current status of the province's digital infrastructure to propose solutions to upgrade and complete data infrastructure and provide advanced digital platforms, ensuring information security and effectively serving the development of the digital economy and digital society.

To improve the capacity of the province's staff, FPT will deploy specialized training programs for officials and managers at all levels of the province, including "digital literacy" courses using artificial intelligence to improve work performance.

The two sides agreed to continue promoting the model of public-private partnership to realize the quartet of Central Resolutions including: Resolution 57-NQ/TW on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, Resolution 59-NQ/TW on foreign affairs, Resolution 66-NQ/TW on perfecting legal institutions, Resolution 68-NQ/TW on developing the private economy into an important driving force of the economy.
