Localities meet to celebrate the founding anniversary of the Vietnam Women's Union

On October 17, many localities in An Giang province held meetings to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025) and the 15th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day October 20.

Party Secretary, Chairman of Vinh An Commune People's Council Bui Cong Phuoc presented flowers to congratulate female cadres and members.

At Vinh An commune, delegates reviewed the significance, establishment and development process of the Vietnam Women's Union over the past 95 years. At the same time, they honored the good traditional values, affirmed the role and contributions of Vietnamese women to the struggle for national liberation, and the construction and protection of the Fatherland.

In addition to reviewing the tradition of the anniversary, Thoai Son Commune People's Committee organized a fashion contest "Office Beauty" for female cadres, civil servants and public employees in the area. As a result, the organizing committee awarded the first prize to the Junior High School team, the second prize to the Preschool - Kindergarten team and the third prize to the State team.

The delegation visited the Temple and Youth House of President Ton Duc Thang.

Many meaningful gifts came to students of My Hoa Hung commune.

At the Memorial Site of President Ton Duc Thang (My Hoa Hung Commune), the Party Building Committee - Inspection Committee Party Cell, the Office of the Party Committee - People's Council of My Thoi Ward, the Office of the People's Council - People's Committee, the Party Building Committee Party Cell and My Hoa Hung Commune Union organized a delegation to visit and offer incense at the Temple of President Ton Duc Thang; hold thematic activities, exchange and share experiences between Party cells after operating the two-level local government.

At the same time, gifts were given to 12 students with difficult circumstances in My Hoa Hung commune, including: bicycles, scholarships, worth more than 15 million VND; received funding to support 1,300 notebooks and some school supplies from sponsors inside and outside the commune.
