On March 6, the People's Committee of Hue City said it is focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles to speed up the progress of key projects.

The bridge project across Thuan An estuary, Hue City is under construction.

These include the Nguyen Hoang road project and the Huong river overpass, the coastal road project and the Thuan An estuary bridge, the Chan May port breakwater project - phase 2, the To Huu road extension project to Phu Bai airport...

Strive to technically open the bridge over the Perfume River on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Hue City (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025) and the bridge over Thuan An seaport on September 2.

At the same time, speed up the progress of key projects using budget capital such as: Hue City water environment improvement project; Hue Citadel conservation, restoration and embellishment project (phase 2); urban development and beautification projects, investment projects to develop infrastructure of economic zones and industrial parks.

Departments, branches and localities review, supervise and support the implementation of key projects and industrial production such as: Kim Long Motor Hue production and assembly complex project (phase 2, 3); Kanglongda Hue factory project (phase 2, 3)...

At the coastal road project through Hue city and the bridge over Thuan An estuary, the capital plan for 2025 is 20 billion VND from the local budget, disbursed up to the reporting time is 19,353 billion VND, reaching 97% of the plan.

Project implementing units are focusing their efforts to complete the bridge over Thuan An estuary on April 30 and open it to technical traffic on September 2.

Regarding the central budget capital of this project, Hue City is currently submitting to the Ministry of Finance a report to the Prime Minister for permission to extend the 2024 central budget capital plan of VND 354,556 billion to 2025 for continued implementation.

Nguyen Hoang Street and Huong River Overpass Project, capital plan for 2025 is over 220.7 billion VND, of which central budget capital is over 210.7 billion VND. Disbursement to date is over 19.3 billion VND/220.7 billion VND, reaching 8.7% of the plan.

Ring Road 3 project, capital plan for 2025 is more than 144.1 billion VND, of which central budget capital is more than 124.1 billion VND. Disbursement to date is more than 0.348 billion VND/144.1 billion VND, reaching 0.3% of the plan.

The project is currently clearing the southern section and is planning to deploy the northern section in 2025.

The project of extending To Huu road to Phu Bai airport, the capital plan for 2025 is 157 billion VND, of which the central budget capital is 147 billion VND. Disbursement to date is more than 96.4 billion VND/157 billion VND, reaching 61.4% of the plan. The project started construction in early 2025 and is implementing site clearance in Huong Thuy town.

The coastal road project through Hue city and the bridge over Thuan An estuary - phase 1 is 7.785km long, from Tam Giang bridge in Hai Duong commune to the bridge over Thuan An estuary, ending at the intersection of National Highway 49A - National Highway 49B in Thuan An ward, Hue city. The total investment of the project in phase 1 is 2,400 billion VND.

The project is invested by the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, starting construction on March 26, 2022.

The joint venture of Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company - Dat Phuong Group Joint Stock Company - 479 Hoa Binh Joint Stock Company will carry out the construction, with the expected completion time being 3 years.

According to the Hue City Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the value of completed project items to date is approximately more than 1,609/2,112 billion VND, reaching about 76% of the volume.
