"Bich Tuyen played very well. She attacked well both behind and at the net," commented Thai account OH Sirilak on Volleyball Thailand after witnessing the Thai women's volleyball team, despite leading 2-0, still let the Vietnamese women's volleyball team come back to defeat them 3-2 in the second round of the SEA V-League (Southeast Asian women's volleyball tournament) held in Ninh Binh on the evening of August 10.

In the first two sets, the Thai women's volleyball team played well and won 25-17 and 26-24 respectively. However, the Vietnamese girls showed their mettle by tying the next two sets with 25-17 and 25-22.
In the decisive set, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team took the lead with a score of 9-5, but Thailand still fought hard to tie the score at 14-14. However, Bich Tuyen scored 2 consecutive points to bring home the final victory 16-14 and help the Vietnamese team defeat Thailand for the first time after a series of 40 consecutive losses.
In the historic victory over Thailand, the main striker Bich Tuyen caused a shock when the Vietnamese women's volleyball team scored 107 points, of which Bich Tuyen alone scored 45 points, meaning she scored about 42% of the team's total points and it was no surprise that she won the title of best player of the match.

That's why many Thai fans expressed their admiration for the excellent performance of the athlete born in 2000.
"Congratulations to Vietnam, especially Bich Tuyen. She scored 45 points and deserved to win the title of best player of the match. Anyway, I would like to send my encouragement to the Thai girls as usual. Sending positive energy to you even though you lost the match," said Anan Udomkantong.
"Our team lost because they had striker Bich Tuyen. She was too strong, and the other team was also very brave," Sutach Thongtanasad asserted.
"The Vietnamese women's volleyball team deserved the victory because they were really determined. Our team missed a lot, especially when we were leading in the first two sets," commented Wanida Tarntarathong.
"Vietnamese women's volleyball has developed so quickly that it's shocking. They have performed very well. They often make the difference," Benchapon Kru Kwan emphasized.
"I have to admit that Vietnamese women's volleyball is developing a lot. Thailand needs to be careful or they will fail to compete at the world level. Anyway, I will continue to cheer for our girls," shared account Phapai Woragate.
"Athletes are not superhumans who do not know how to lose. If you think that a team like Vietnam cannot win against Thailand, then why did Thailand win against a strong team in the world? In sports, there are winners and losers.
If you think your team always has to win, I suggest you don't watch sports. I always support the Thai women's volleyball team. Failure will motivate them to play better in the future," Amnuaysilpa Mana concluded.
