VietinBank awards 500 million VND in scholarships to students of Banking Academy

On October 7, 2025, at the Opening Ceremony of the 2025 - 2026 school year of the Banking Academy (Hanoi), VietinBank awarded scholarships worth 500 million VND to students with excellent academic and training achievements.

Attending the Ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Canh - Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV), Mr. Le Thanh Tung - Member of the Board of Directors of VietinBank , along with leaders of banks, partner enterprises, lecturers and more than 4,000 new students of the 28th course of the Academy.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh - Deputy Director in charge of Banking Academy thanked VietinBank for always accompanying the Academy in training and developing high-quality human resources for the Banking Industry. Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thi Hoang Anh emphasized: VietinBank Scholarship is a practical source of encouragement, helping students to be more motivated to excel in their studies and training.

The scholarships are awarded to students with outstanding academic and training results, high scores and demonstrating the spirit of effort, striving to overcome difficulties and the desire to contribute to the Finance - Banking Industry. Therefore, this is not only a worthy reward but also demonstrates VietinBank's social responsibility, commitment to education and investment in the future generation of human resources.

Banking Academy is a public training institution under the State Bank of Vietnam with more than 65 years of establishment and development, training 36 Bachelor programs, 10 Master programs and 3 Doctoral programs meeting national education quality accreditation standards. The Academy always links training with practice, closely cooperates with businesses to expand internship, research and employment opportunities for students.

Over the years, VietinBank has always accompanied the Banking Academy through scholarship programs, practical training, specialized seminars and recruitment activities. This cooperative relationship has made an important contribution in connecting training with the human resource development needs of the Vietnamese Banking Industry.
