The photo was quickly shared by groups. Many netizens commented that the image was beautiful but the weather in the photo was "too scary" or "looked like a horror movie".

Learning from the experience of storm No. 10, this time, Mr. Son decided to take time off work to avoid flooding and vehicle breakdown. He also proactively asked for his two older children to take time off from school to ensure safety. However, the school later announced that it would switch to online learning. As for his youngest child, because the school is next to the building where he lives, he still takes his children to school as usual.

Mr. Son said that from his balcony, on rainy days he often sees thick dark clouds, but today the sky is darker and gloomier than usual.

Storm Matmo weakened into a tropical depression in Guangxi Province (China) at 7am yesterday. By 3am today, the storm's circulation combined with high-altitude wind convergence will cause heavy rain in the North.
