The 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship concluded after the final match on the evening of September 7 and below are the final rankings.

With the victory over Türkiye in the final, the Italian women's volleyball team won the world championship for the second time in history. This also means they got the gold medal and the number 1 position of the tournament.

This victory helps the Italian team extend their 36-match unbeaten streak, showing their absolute dominance over the past year.

Meanwhile, Türkiye finished second at the 2025 Women’s Volleyball World Championship. Despite playing well in the final, the team made mistakes at the decisive moment and could not win the title. After all, it was only their first time playing in such a gold medal match, so the second place achievement is still worthy of praise.

Third place is Brazil, a team that has consistently missed out on major tournaments in recent years. Japan is the fourth-placed team, causing much regret, because they played with all their heart and soul but ultimately came away empty-handed.

After the top four teams are the teams that have reached the quarterfinals, namely the USA, the Netherlands, Poland and France. Next is the group of teams that stopped in the round of 16. Among them, China ranked 9th, the team that was considered a candidate for the championship but was eliminated quite early.

Right below is the 2-time champion (2018, 2022) Serbia. This year they collapsed because the number 1 star Tijana Boskovic suffered a serious injury in the group stage. Belgium ranked 11th, Germany ranked 12th and host Thailand ranked 13th. Next are the teams of Dominican Republic, Canada and Slovenia.

The last group consists of teams eliminated from the group stage. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team was lucky not to be at the bottom. They ranked 31st out of 32 teams, above Cameroon.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet's team lost all three matches, but won one set against Poland. Thanks to that, they ranked above Cameroon, who lost all three matches with the same score of 0-3.
