Big fire at apartment building in Bac Ninh due to electrical short circuit in washing machine

This afternoon (June 22), speaking with reporters from Giao Thong Newspaper, the leader of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh City said that at noon the same day, a fire broke out on the 10th floor of the apartment building, belonging to the Cat Tuong social and commercial housing project of Cat Tuong Joint Stock Company, in Vo Cuong Ward, Bac Ninh City.

At this time, many people were startled to discover a fire coming from the 10th floor of the building, then the fire quickly spread, with smoke dozens of meters high.

Faced with the above situation, the people promptly reported it to the local authorities and functional forces. Afterwards, the fire police force arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire.

Fortunately, the incident did not cause any human casualties, however all property on the 10th floor of the apartment building was completely burned down.

The leader of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh City also said that through the investigation of the scene, the authorities initially determined that the cause of the incident was an electrical short circuit in a large-capacity washing machine located on the 10th floor of the building.

Local authorities are still directing functional agencies to investigate and resolve the case.
