Bac Ninh: Issued alarm number 1 on Thuong River

BAC NINH - At 2:20 a.m. on September 30, the Head of the Civil Defense Command of Bac Ninh province issued a telegram to the Departments of Construction, Industry and Trade, and Health; the Civil Defense Command of the communes of Lang Giang, Kep, My Thai, Tan Dinh, and Tien Luc; the Bac Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company regarding the issuance of alarm No. 1 on the Thuong River at the Cau Son Hydrological Station.

The content of the telegram stated: At 1:50 a.m. on September 30, 2025, the water level on the Thuong River at Cau Son Hydrological Station was above alert level I (corresponding to a water level ≥14.00m).

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued the first alert on the Thuong River at the Cau Son Hydrological Station and requested the Command Boards for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of the above-mentioned communes to immediately organize on-duty, patrol and guard work along both sides of the river; detect and proactively handle and reinforce landslides that affect the safety of residential areas and riverside works.

Notify the people and owners of water transport vehicles on the river to proactively prevent and ensure safety for people and property. Organize a serious 24/24-hour standing force, regularly update information, and promptly report to the Provincial Civil Defense Command (the standing agency of the Provincial Military Command) and the Department of Agriculture and Environment (through the Irrigation Sub-Department) for advice, direction and operation.
