Market Management Department discovered and handled 180 administrative violations - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

Since the beginning of the year, the provincial Market Management Department has inspected 192 individuals and business organizations in the area; detected and handled 180 administrative violations, with a total amount of money collected for the State budget of over 2.4 billion VND.

Officers of Market Management Team No. 1 check the quality of goods on the market.

Of which, 18 cases of trading in smuggled goods were detected and handled, 12 violations of intellectual property rights, 95 violations in the field of food safety and cases with evidence of food items, 74 violations of trading in goods of unknown origin, 27 violations of price listing, and 34 other violations in business. The total amount of money for liquidation of confiscated goods was over 1 billion VND. The value of confiscated goods during the period was over 1.7 billion VND; the value of goods forced to be destroyed during the period was over 1 billion VND.

Currently, the Department has strengthened market inspection and control; promoted propaganda and dissemination of commercial laws, organized commitments with organizations and individuals in production and business to comply with the provisions of law in commercial activities, not to smuggle, trade in counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin, goods violating food safety, and publicly posted hotline numbers to receive feedback from people at food establishments and supermarkets in the area.
