In just 2.5 months of calling, people of a village in Hai Duong immediately contributed 4 billion VND to build a road.

Up to now, 100% of the lanes and alleys of Hoang Tuong village, Tan Trao commune (Thanh Mien, Hai Duong ) have been upgraded and renovated to ensure meeting the advanced new rural standards. The people here have contributed nearly 4 billion VND to widen nearly 2 km of roads with a width of 4-8 m; build drainage ditches on both sides of the road. Many households have also voluntarily dismantled the construction and donated land to widen the road. Some roads in the village have been invested in installing electric lighting systems.

The solidarity and unity of the people of Hoang Tuong village has contributed to helping Thanh Mien carry out the breakthrough work in 2024: "Mobilizing all resources to upgrade and complete the traffic and drainage systems in villages and residential areas".

According to the Thanh Mien District Party Committee's Mobilization Committee, in 2023, the entire district invested in upgrading and building more than 33 km of rural roads with a total cost of over 70 billion VND, of which socialized resources and people's contributions accounted for over 60% of the total investment. People in the district also donated more than 8,000 m2 of land for road construction. Adding the number of working days and works that people dismantled themselves and spent their own money to rebuild, the socialized resources for road construction in the district are much larger.

Together with the joint efforts to open the road, with a total budget of nearly 7 billion VND, of which the budget is only over 400 million VND, up to now, most of the villages and residential areas in Thanh Mien have public places with installed exercise and sports equipment. Also from socialized resources, Thanh Mien is the leading locality to complete the relocation of electric poles on the roadway so that people can travel safely.
