Diep Lam Anh's ex-husband affirmed that the two of them actually did not fight with each other. According to Nghiem Duc, what he wanted was "children", and what his ex-wife wanted was simply "numbers".

He also confirmed that there is much more information related to the broken marriage between him and Diep Lam Anh, but they will be provided by the businessman in court.

Previously on July 8, Diep Lam Anh released a nearly two-minute clip recording the scene of her ex-mother-in-law questioning Quynh Thu.

In the clip, Diep Lam Anh's ex-mother-in-law confirmed that Quynh Thu going out with Nghiem Duc and posting photos online was not true and Diep Lam Anh had evidence of that.

At the first instance trial, the District 1 People’s Court (HCMC) ruled that each person would have custody of one child. Specifically, Diep Lam Anh’s ex-husband had the right to raise their son, while the actress had the right to raise their eldest daughter. However, both parties appealed, wanting to gain custody of both children.

The appeal hearing scheduled for July 5 was postponed. According to Diep Lam Anh, the trial will be re-heard in early August.
