Heavy rain causes flooding in Bao Loc mountain town, Lam Dong

On the afternoon of October 1, a heavy rain lasting more than 3 hours caused many areas in Ward 1 Bao Loc, Ward 2 Bao Loc, Ward 3 Bao Loc, and Ward B'Lao (Lam Dong province) to be heavily flooded and many trees fell, causing local traffic jams.

It was recorded that roads such as Nguyen Cong Tru, Phan Dinh Phung, Ha Giang , Hoai Thanh, Huynh Thuc Khang, Tran Phu (on National Highway 20), Dinh Tien Hoang, Ky Con... were deeply flooded.

Bao Loc streets were heavily flooded after heavy rain

Many roads were flooded from 0.4 to 0.6 meters deep. The flooded roads caused water to flow into the houses of many households along the roads.

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds caused many urban trees on some roads to be uprooted and fall, obstructing traffic.

Faced with the above situation, local authorities and functional agencies have been present to handle flooded areas. At the same time, they have cleared the scene of fallen trees on the roads to ensure smooth traffic.

Rainwater could not drain away in time, causing flooding on Dong Tam Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, on the afternoon of October 1.

Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, Lam Dong Province is partially flooded after heavy rain.

On the same afternoon, in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, heavy rain also caused local flooding on Huyen Tran Cong Chua street, Dong Tam.
