At the visited places, Comrade Le Quang Hung, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, and members of the delegation inquired about the health and living conditions of the Dien Bien soldiers. He was delighted to see that despite their old age, the Dien Bien soldiers were still healthy, alert, and living happily with their children and grandchildren. At the same time, he expressed his respect and gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the Dien Bien soldiers in the resistance war against the French colonialists, contributing to the success of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory.
