At the temple of President Ton Duc Thang, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, along with members of the Central and An Giang provincial delegations, respectfully observed a minute of silence and offered incense in memory of President Ton Duc Thang.

At the age of 92, with more than 70 years of revolutionary activities, President Ton Duc Thang devoted his entire life to the cause of national liberation, gaining independence and freedom for the country; throughout his life he was diligent, thrifty, honest, upright, impartial, wholeheartedly serving the revolution and the people.

President Ton Duc Thang is a shining example of steadfast will and revolutionary fighting spirit, sacrificing his whole life for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people...

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and members of the Central and An Giang provincial delegations visited the childhood memorial house of President Ton Duc Thang.

Writing in the memorial book at the temple of President Ton Duc Thang, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man expressed: "Towards the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026), today the working delegation visited the Memorial Site to respectfully offer incense in memory of the great contributions of President Ton Duc Thang - an exemplary leader, a staunch communist, a shining example of revolutionary morality, and an outstanding son of An Giang province.

Generations of National Assembly deputies vow to continue and promote the achievements of previous generations, firmly believe in the Party, unite, innovate, and strive to build a Vietnamese National Assembly worthy of the trust and expectations of voters and people nationwide, contributing to bringing the country firmly into a new era of wealth, prosperity, and happiness for the people. I hope that An Giang province will develop quickly and firmly along with the country's development, worthy of being the homeland of President Ton Duc Thang."
