Join hands to support people affected by storms and floods through VNeID

On October 10, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and relevant units to launch a program to join hands in providing emergency relief to people affected by storms and floods on the VNeID platform in 2025.

At this event, Mr. Cao Xuan Thao, Head of the Social Work Department, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , said that three consecutive storms and their circulations have recently caused rain and flooding in the North and North Central regions. The impact of the three consecutive storms has caused great loss of life and property, and many traffic and construction works have been damaged.

Recently, responding to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and units including the Ministry of Public Security , many organizations and individuals have provided support directly or through bank accounts.

As of 5:00 p.m. on October 9, a total of more than 1 million people and accounts have registered to support and have donated about 850 billion VND.

On the part of the Fatherland Front, the unit continues to apply technological solutions to receive and manage these supports to ensure transparency, no errors and will hand them directly to 100% of people affected by floods.

Also at the ceremony, Colonel Tran Hong Phu, Deputy Director of Department C06, Ministry of Public Security, affirmed that three consecutive storms have caused very heavy damage. Therefore, the implementation of the emergency relief program for people affected by storms and floods on VNeID is very meaningful, practical and timely at this time.

Up to now, more than 11,000 officers and soldiers of People's Public Security units have directly helped and provided relief to people in all areas affected by floods.

The leader of Department C06 emphasized that, with the spirit of helping each other, C06 activated the implementation of the emergency relief program for people affected by floods on the VNeID platform in 2025.

"Through this platform, we hope that our compatriots, comrades, and people across the country will support our compatriots in flood-affected areas, overcome the heavy losses in human lives and property, and soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters," said Colonel Tran Hong Phu.

According to the instructions of Department C06, to support people in flood-affected areas through VNeID, account holders need to log in to this application. Then, click to access "Emergency relief program for people affected by storms and floods on the VNeID platform in 2025".

Next, citizens select "Click here to make a donation", then select a bank with a QR code to support through the accounts of the unit in coordination with Department C06 and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
