On the morning of October 15, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, entered its closing session. In the morning, the Congress announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on appointing personnel for the Inspection Committee and the Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee; and the decision to appoint delegates of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.
At the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Van Thi Bach Tuyet announced the decision to appoint personnel for the Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. According to the decision, the personnel of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the new term has 16 personnel including the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and Members.

Mr. Vo Van Dung continues to be the Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the next term. The Standing Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee is Mr. Nguyen Chi Trung; the Deputy Chairmen are Ms. Le Thi Ho Rin, Mr. Le Hong Thong, Mr. Ho Nam, Mr. Le Minh Tuan, Mr. Ho Hai, and Ms. Dang Thi Hong Van.
The congress also announced the list of 75 people appointed to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party. In addition, the city has 5 delegates who are automatically attending the 14th National Congress of the Party: Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Tran Luu Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Le Quoc Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc, Head of the Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Van Loi, former Secretary of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee Pham Viet Thanh.

Delegates also voted to approve the indicators and goals for the 2025-2030 term, and to pass the Resolution of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the Congress expressed its determination to build Ho Chi Minh City into a multi-centered city with economy , finance, services, culture, education, health, science and technology, innovation, creativity, smart development, modernity, green and sustainable growth, firmly ensuring national defense, security, foreign affairs, building a clean and strong Party and political system in all aspects.

Ho Chi Minh City also aims to build a research and development (R&D) center, develop new technology products; form new generation free trade zones associated with the development of logistics centers, international transit port clusters, cargo airports; develop large-scale integrated trade complexes connecting free trade zones.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress called on all cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, being resilient, united, dynamic, creative, and loyal, grasping opportunities, overcoming challenges, comprehensively promoting the cause of innovation, enthusiastically responding to the patriotic emulation movement, striving to fulfill the highest goals and tasks of the 1st City Party Congress, term 2025-2030, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, building Ho Chi Minh City to develop sustainably, reaching regional and world levels, constantly improving the quality of life and happiness of the people.
