As soon as the news of Hanoi becoming a stop in G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] of G-Dragon, leader of BIGBANG, was announced, the K-pop fan community in Vietnam immediately "exploded" with excitement. The music event is scheduled to take place on November 8.
Not only is it an opportunity to get close to your idols, the ticket hunting battle has also become a difficult challenge for those who want to own VVIP, VIP tickets or seats close to the stage.
On the morning of October 7, the Organizing Committee opened the first sale for membership members. Within just 30 minutes, all VVIP tickets were sold out, with the online queue reaching more than 500,000 accounts, a record number never seen before in the history of Vietnamese concerts.

Then, on the morning of October 8, the second sale for customers who met the conditions from the main sponsor was also held, helping some lucky fans own additional VVIP and VIP tickets.
Ticket holders will also enjoy special benefits, including attending a pre-show sound test and meeting and seeing off the artists after the show, perks only available to premium ticket holders.
Not only attracting domestic audiences, G-Dragon's concert also made international fans join the "ticket hunting war".
According to information from the Organizing Committee, VVIP tickets cost 8 million VND, but what makes this ticket class special is the soundcheck benefit, which means being able to attend the audition (before the concert, witness the artist practicing, listen to the music, and sometimes have the opportunity to chat and interact with the idol).

In addition, the send-off privilege allows fans to meet and see G-Dragon off after the show ends, an intimate experience that not every fan can have.
Because of these privileges, VVIP tickets become a "treasure" that is fiercely sought after, causing both domestic and international fan communities to be ready to fight for every opportunity to witness and get close to their idols.
VIP tickets cost 7.3 million VND, other classes from Premium to CAT 6B range from 3-6.5 million VND, depending on location and seat.
However, right after the first sale, on the "black market" ticket market, the price of VVIP tickets was increased to more than 40 million VND, sometimes even reaching 100 million VND for a pair of tickets.
This price made many Vietnamese fans surprised and stunned, because in just a few minutes, the official ticket worth 8 million VND suddenly increased many times.
This has made the ticket hunt more fierce and tense than ever, as thousands of fans have to race to not miss the opportunity to own the "treasure" ticket in their hands.
The heat and scarcity of tickets have made Vietnamese fans frantically prepare, from hunting for tickets, arranging work, booking flights, renting hotels to carefully planning their travel schedules.
In this context, Lan Anh (born in 1995), another fan, is considering buying VVIP tickets at the price of 70 million VND per pair, because it is not possible to buy directly on the website.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Lan Anh tried to access the ticket purchase page many times but was unsuccessful because the system was overloaded, and had to wait a long time for her turn.

As a fan of G-Dragon and the whole group BIGBANG since middle school, Lan Anh said this was an extremely rare opportunity to get close to her idol. She was willing to spend money, but also worried about being scammed when spending a large amount of money.
Lan Anh shared: “This is a special opportunity to attend VVIP tickets with many benefits, which only the show in Hanoi has. Although the amount of money spent is quite high, but if I can buy a ticket, I will fully enjoy the music night and have the closest experience with my idol.”
Besides Yen, another fan, Ha My (born 2004, Hanoi) is also determined to hunt for VVIP tickets.
She said that despite her efforts, accessing the system encountered many errors due to overload, so she could not buy VVIP tickets at the original price from the Organizing Committee. Ha My was still willing to wait and find every way to own the ticket, because the send-off and soundcheck benefits were only available at the Hanoi show.

“In the black market, each person offers a different price and there are no tickets under 30 million VND each, so I haven’t paid yet. If I decide to buy, I will only transfer money through direct transactions, because the amount of money spent is too large and I need to ensure safety,” she added.
Dan Tri reporter contacted the ND account in the concert ticket buying and selling group. This person said that he was selling a pair of VVIP tickets close to the stage with full benefits, but the VVIP tickets for November 8th had already been purchased.
If you want, customers can wait and contact again on the morning of October 9, after the final sale.
When the reporter continued to ask about the transaction form and accompanying benefits, the seller explained: “If you are in Ho Chi Minh City, the transaction will be made at our store; and if you are in Hanoi, the transaction will take place directly at the home of a friend in the same ticket selling group. VVIP tickets still come with all the special benefits, similar to when buying directly from the Organizing Committee.”

Thus, a VVIP ticket, which originally cost only 8 million VND from the Organizing Committee, is being inflated to 88 million VND/pair on the secondary market, 11 times the original price, and still has the potential to increase.
This difference reflects the unprecedented level of competition and ticket fever at concerts in Vietnam.
Not only did they put all their efforts into hunting for tickets, many fans were also willing to spend money on plane tickets to be in Hanoi to watch G-Dragon. Among them, Hoang Yen (born in 1998, from Binh Dinh, currently living in Gia Lai ) is a long-time fan, and along with a group of 12 friends, they prepared carefully in advance.
Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Hoang Yen said: “Since June, when I heard that G-Dragon would perform in Hanoi, I mentally prepared to compete for tickets. I have no experience in hunting for tickets, so I asked my experienced group members for support.”
Yen participated in both the first and second sales rounds, aiming for CAT 1A and 1B classes, because she was not able to participate in the additional activities that came with the VVIP tickets. However, there were still people in the group who were lucky enough to hunt for VVIP tickets.
“I didn’t get a VVIP ticket, but my group tried their luck and someone succeeded. It was really fun to feel lucky. This also means that our group got an official ticket, not a “black market” ticket with an exorbitant price,” Hoang Yen excitedly said.
The total cost of Yen and her friends' trip, including airfare, hotel and concert tickets, is estimated at about 18 million VND per person, not including food and travel expenses throughout the trip.
In fan groups, many fans also warn about the tricks of ticket scalpers, from luring customers, offering sky-high prices to creating pressure to buy immediately to not miss the opportunity. Fans advise that you should only buy tickets from the official system or through trusted acquaintances, to avoid falling into the trap of ticket scalpers.
Especially with rare privileges like send-off and soundcheck, buying tickets on the black market should only be considered when all official tickets are sold out, and buyers must be extremely careful to avoid risks.
G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji Yong, born 1988) is the leader of BIGBANG, one of the top idol groups in Korea.
Dubbed the "King of K-pop", G-Dragon stands out with his comprehensive talent from composing, producing music, choreography to unique fashion style, and is considered one of the most influential artists globally.
G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] is the third global tour of the "king" of K-pop, held to promote the album of the same name released in 2025. This is also G-Dragon's first global tour in 8 years since Act III: MOTTE World Tour (2017).
The fact that Hanoi was chosen as the final international stop not only proves Vietnam’s growing position on the map of international music events, but also opens up opportunities to attract a large international audience. The event is scheduled to take place at Vinhomes Ocean Park 3 on November 8.
