Ben Cau Commune Police took the old woman to hand over to her relatives in An Ninh Commune, Tay Ninh Province.
On the evening of October 10, while patrolling the area, the Ben Cau Commune Police team discovered an old woman sitting huddled on the side of the road in a state of confusion and fatigue. When approached to inquire, the woman said she was confused and lost her way when leaving her child's house but could not remember her exact address.
Faced with that situation, the officers and soldiers quickly took the old woman to the commune police headquarters to take care of her, arrange a temporary place to stay, and verify her identity. Through discussion, the old woman said her name was Nguyen Thi Hao, 78 years old, from Can Tho City. From this little information, Ben Cau Commune Police contacted Vinh Chau Ward Police, Can Tho City to ask for coordination in identifying relatives.
Not long after, the authorities determined that Mrs. Hao was currently living with her children in An Ninh Commune, Tay Ninh Province. That same night, Ben Cau Commune Police arranged a vehicle to take her to her place of residence. Upon arrival, the police quickly contacted her relatives and safely handed her over to her family.
Receiving their elderly mother back after many hours of anxious searching, Mr. Hao's relatives were moved and expressed their deep gratitude to Ben Cau Commune Police for their timely help, thoughtful care and support in bringing her back in good health./.
