Tan Bien Commune: A particularly difficult situation in need of support

On October 9, with the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other", representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Bien commune, Tay Ninh province visited, encouraged and gave emergency support to the family of Ms. Luong Thi Hanh (born in 1955), Thai ethnic group, residing in Hamlet 6, Tan Bien commune - a poor household in especially difficult circumstances.

Mrs. Hanh and her husband both earn a living by selling lottery tickets, with an unstable income. She had broken both arms in the past, and her health was poor, so she had to rely on her husband, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, to do all the housework.

However, Mr. Hai suffered a stroke and had difficulty moving. On October 8, Mrs. Hanh suffered a heart attack and was scheduled for surgery at a cost of more than 70 million VND, far beyond the family's financial capacity.

Upon receiving the information, the Fund Mobilization Committee for the Poor of Tan Bien commune quickly provided emergency support of 2 million VND to share some of the difficulties and help the family overcome difficult times.

At the visit, the representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Bien commune expressed deep sympathy and encouraged Ms. Hanh's family to try to overcome the illness and stabilize their lives, while affirming that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune is always a bridge and a solid support for the poor and disadvantaged to receive timely care and support.
