New milestone in Vietnam – Saudi Arabia business cooperation

DNVN – In the context of Vietnam – Saudi Arabia relations facing new opportunities, the visit and working session of the Saudi Arabia – Vietnam Business Council in Hanoi is considered an important milestone, promising to open up many strategic directions for trade cooperation, investment and human resource development between the two countries.

On September 28-29 in Hanoi, a working delegation of the Saudi-Vietnamese Business Council (Saudi-Vietnamese Business Council) led by Mr. Ahmed Altheeb - Chairman of the Council, and Mr. Meshal Hameed al Shammari - representative of Madareem Luxury Hotel and Tourism Group, had a working session with the Institute of Technology Application & Human Resource Development Training and the Vietnam - Saudi Arabia Center for Culture, Trade and Investment.

At the meeting, Mr. Ahmed Altheeb expressed his deep impression of the hospitality and friendliness of the Vietnamese people and affirmed that Hanoi with its modern and dynamic appearance has become a typical symbol of new vitality and strong transformation of the Vietnamese economy .

According to Mr. Ahmed, the harmonious combination of cultural identity, development potential and international integration spirit will be an important driving force to promote cooperation between the two countries.

" Vietnam is not only attractive for its landscape and people, but also a destination of opportunity. We believe that the friendship between the business communities of the two countries will be realized through specific, practical and sustainable projects," Mr. Ahmed emphasized.

Expressing his appreciation for the visit and working session of the Saudi Arabian business delegation, Mr. Ha Trong Nhan - Director of the Institute of Technology Application and Human Resource Development Training, shared that Vietnam is entering a new development phase with many modern logistics infrastructure and planning projects, associated with the digital transformation and green transformation process. These are the fields that can create great attraction for investors and businesses from the Middle East.

“We share the same vision with our Saudi Arabian partner, not only in expanding trade and investment, but also in accompanying each other in sustainable development goals, innovation and improving the quality of human resources,” said Mr. Nhan.

Mr. Ha Trong Nhan and Mr. Ahmed expect the cooperation between the parties in the coming time to achieve many achievements.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh - Director of the Vietnam - Saudi Arabia Cultural, Trade and Investment Center, the Center will accompany Saudi Arabian partners to create a foundation for continuous and effective cooperation, bringing practical benefits to businesses of the two countries.

"The center will also be a bridge to narrow language barriers and cultural differences, helping businesses of the two countries better understand the market, thereby opening up the flow of cooperation," said Ms. Hanh.

Vietnam has many competitive advantages in industry, agriculture , tourism, investment and information technology, in line with Saudi Arabia's 2030 vision for economic diversification.

The two sides agreed that effective cooperation would help Vietnam expand into the Middle East market, while providing Saudi Arabia with a reliable partner in the Asia-Pacific region. The prospect also opens up opportunities for B2B connections, technology sharing, human resource training and technology transfer, creating a foundation for in-depth and sustainable cooperation.
