Tax officers guide business households to install eTax Mobile application

The working session is within the framework of the program to implement electronic tax payment for business households. This is a particularly important time when, from January 1, 2025, the General Department of Taxation will officially end the form of tax collection authorization by post for business households.

Switching to tax payment via the eTax Mobile application is an important step in the tax sector's administrative reform strategy, aiming to modernize tax management, minimize administrative procedures and facilitate taxpayers.

Faced with this change, businesses need to become familiar with and proficiently use eTax Mobile to fully perform online tax obligations conveniently and effectively.

The working session at the Thang Binh District Tax Department was lively with the participation of many business households. The Tax Department's working group provided step-by-step instructions on how to install and use the eTax Mobile application.

In particular, the delegation also answered questions from business households about new regulations related to tax payment via eTax Mobile. Tax officers also guided taxpayers on how to link their bank accounts to the application, making tax payment via eTax Mobile easier.

Leaders of the Quang Nam Tax Department emphasized that ending the mandate to collect taxes via post will help increase the efficiency of tax management, creating a transparent, accessible and taxpayer-friendly tax system.

In addition, using eTax Mobile also helps businesses reduce many cumbersome procedures and proactively monitor their tax situation right on their mobile phones.

To facilitate business households in this transition process, the Tax Department's working group also announced the schedule for supporting the installation of eTax Mobile at other tax branches in the province. Specifically as follows:

Headquarters of Nui Thanh District Tax Department: December 24, 2024;

Headquarters of Tam Ky - Phu Ninh Regional Tax Department: December 26, 2024;

One-stop shop of Phu Ninh District Tax Department: December 27, 2024.

The support sessions will include activities such as instructions on installing the application, answering questions related to eTax Mobile features and direct consultation on arising tax issues. Business households can go directly to the tax offices on these support days to get assistance.

The eTax Mobile installation support session at the Thang Binh District Tax Department received positive response and appreciation from business households.
