Earlier, on the afternoon of October 18, at the beach in front of the Lodge Hotel (Tran Phu Street), another male tourist was also swept away from shore by large waves. Thanks to the timely response of the rescue team, the victim was brought safely to shore and transferred to Khanh Hoa General Hospital for a health check.
According to the beach rescue force, in recent days, due to the impact of storm No. 12, the coastal area of Nha Trang has had large waves, strong winds and rough seas, thus posing many potential risks to the safety of residents and tourists when swimming in the sea. The Nha Trang Bay Management Board recommends that residents and tourists absolutely do not swim in dangerous weather conditions, strictly follow the instructions of the rescue force to ensure safety for themselves and the community. Despite facing harsh weather, the beach rescue force of the Nha Trang Bay Management Board still maintains 100% of its personnel, increases patrols and surveillance along the Tran Phu - Pham Van Dong coastline, and is ready to respond to emergency situations.
