Director Nguyen Trung Khanh highly appreciated the potential and development orientation of tourism in Tianjin, and suggested that the two sides consider signing a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two sides, strengthen two-way promotion, encourage the opening of direct flights and coordinate the development of linked tourism products (Urban - Cuisine - MICE; Beijing - Tianjin - Vietnam). Tianjin expressed its high agreement and consensus in principle with Vietnam's proposals, affirming that they will closely coordinate to soon implement them in the near future.
The above cooperation activities take place in the context of Vietnam - China celebrating the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations (1950 - 2025) and continuing to implement the Cultural and Tourism Cooperation Plan for the period 2023-2027 between the two management ministries.
