Surpassing many other prominent destinations in the region, this year, Vietnam's Phu Quoc was voted by experts and readers of Condé Nast Traveler as the most beautiful island in Asia and ranked 3rd in the world .
This ranking is part of the Reader's Choice Awards organized annually by the prestigious travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler (USA).
This is considered one of the most prestigious rankings in the world tourism industry. With a history of more than 3 decades, Reader's Choice Awards is considered as "the voice of travelers", an important measure of international tourism trends and service quality.
Accordingly, this year, Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island was honored to lead the Asian regional rankings, with a total score of 95.51/100. The evaluation criteria are based on the level of satisfaction with the destination in terms of service quality, scenery, beauty of beaches, unique cuisine and hospitality.
The impressive score also put Vietnam's pearl island into the global top 3, after two representatives from the US, Kiawah and Hilton Head, and far surpassing other famous names such as Maldives (92.31), Maui (93.35), Bali (89.84) or Phuket (84.62).
