Immediately after the disaster, the Hung Son commune government mobilized more than 50 people including youth, militia, commune police and officers of Ga Ry Border Guard Station to the villages to support people in overcoming the consequences.

Mr. Zo Ram Buon, Chairman of Hung Son Commune People's Committee, said that as soon as information about the tornado was received, the commune leaders directed forces to each location to inspect and provide timely support, and promptly report to the City People's Committee. The commune strives to have affected households have stable temporary housing by mid-August, and no one will have to live in the open.

Due to the prolonged heavy rain, the transportation of supplies to Hung Son commune is still facing many difficulties. While waiting for support, the local Co Tu people have promoted the spirit of solidarity, proactively supporting families whose temporary houses collapsed, sharing meals, roofs, and blankets to overcome the difficult period together.
