The 16th Congress of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee took place from September 25-27.

Thoroughly implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW (dated April 14, 2025) of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress, with urgent, serious and responsible preparation, with the consensus of the Politburo, the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 took place from September 25 to 27 at the Provincial Conference Center.

The 16th Provincial Party Congress is taking place at a very important time. The whole country is entering a new development phase with many major, breakthrough policies and guidelines being implemented synchronously and drastically to continue perfecting institutions, innovating organizational models and operating methods of the political system.

This is also the time when the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province are happy and excited about the great results after 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress and Resolution XIII of the Party.

The 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress is one of the earliest provincial Party Congresses held in the country. The Congress will be attended by 366 delegates representing 59 provincial Party Committees, representing over 104,000 Party members in the entire Provincial Party Committee.

These are excellent delegates with strong political will, steadfast revolutionary ideals, exemplary moral qualities, lifestyle and working capacity, representing the intelligence of the Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee to participate and contribute to the contents of the congress.

The Congress will fully implement 4 contents: Summarizing the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term and determining the directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress; electing the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; electing the Provincial Delegation to attend the 14th National Party Congress.

During the past term, Quang Ninh has achieved many important achievements in various fields, completing the set goals and targets, many of which exceeded the targets of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress.

Up to now, Quang Ninh has "risen to become one of the leading provinces in the innovation of the Northern Delta, a growth pole of the Northern region" increasingly clearly shaping a rich, civilized and modern Quang Ninh.

Thereby, making important contributions to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland, renewing and developing the country after 40 years of renovation.

Moving towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress, implementing Directive No. 45-CT/TW (dated April 14, 2025) of the Politburo , the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Executive Committee has focused on leading and directing the successful organization of the Congresses of 54 Party Committees of communes, wards, special zones and 5 affiliated Party Committees, ensuring compliance with principles, regulations, procedures and requirements; the Congresses have contributed many valuable opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress and the documents of the 16th Provincial Party Congress.

In particular, over the past months, towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress, all levels, sectors, localities and units in the whole province have simultaneously launched many exciting and practical patriotic emulation movements associated with the implementation of political tasks of each field, each agency and each locality.

The competitive atmosphere has become a strong driving force urging cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, workers and people of all walks of life to work enthusiastically, be creative and contribute.

Many practical works and tasks were urgently completed, many important goals and targets were reached early, leaving clear marks, contributing to creating a bustling emulation atmosphere, spreading throughout the province, contributing to the successful completion of the goals and tasks of 2025 and the 5-year plan (2020-2025) of the province.

According to the program, on the afternoon of September 25, the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, began working, implementing the contents according to regulations and discussing in groups to contribute opinions to the documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the documents submitted to the 16th Provincial Party Congress./.
