Immerse yourself in the colorful picture of the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi

For three days, from October 10 to 12, 2025, Thang Long Imperial Citadel will become the "common home" of the world, where music, colors, flavors and emotions blend in an atmosphere of friendship and solidarity.

With the aim of honoring cultural diversity and enhancing people-to-people exchanges, the World Cultural Festival in Hanoi is a key foreign cultural activity of Vietnam in 2025, gathering the largest number of foreign participating agencies ever.

Accordingly, the event took place from October 10-12, at Thang Long Imperial Citadel, with the participation of 48 countries, 45 national cultural spaces, 34 international culinary booths, 23 domestic and foreign art troupes, 12 units introducing books and publications and 22 countries participating in the international film screening program.

In the sacred space of Thang Long Imperial Citadel - the center of the nation's thousand-year-old cultural convergence, the public will be immersed in a colorful cultural picture, where art, music , cinema, fashion, fine arts and cuisine blend together, spreading the message "Culture is the bridge of humanity, creativity is the common language of the world."

The opening ceremony took place on the evening of October 10 with the participation of many famous Vietnamese artists such as Tung Duong, Hoa Minzy and international artists. The program was elaborately staged, combining traditional and modern art, with 3D Mapping projection technology, creating a unique performance space, connecting five continents in creative light and solidarity.

The closing ceremony took place on the evening of October 12, with the participation of artists such as Truc Nhan, Hoang Thuy Linh and many international art troupes, promising to bring vibrant performances, closing the festival with an atmosphere filled with emotions, creativity and humanity.

The highlight of the festival is the fashion show “Footsteps of Heritage”, taking place on the evening of October 11. The public will be able to enjoy nearly 100 traditional costumes from participating countries. Each costume carries a story of culture, history and national spirit, creating a journey to honor heritage and identity, while affirming the beauty of human cultural diversity.

Within the framework of the festival, the “Cultural Road” was opened with nearly 50 booths from countries and territories such as China, Korea, Japan, the United States, Russia, France, Iran, Angola, Laos, the Philippines... The booths operated continuously from 9:00 to 21:30 on October 11-12, introducing the unique features of history, art, language, costumes and customs of each country. Visitors can directly experience wearing traditional costumes, enjoy typical dishes, participate in folk games and immerse themselves in the vibrant, close and open international exchange atmosphere.

Within the framework of the festival, an international film screening program will introduce outstanding Vietnamese and international cinema works at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Hall, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on October 11-12.

Traditional art performances and international performances take place on the round stage, with the participation of Vietnamese and international artists. Vietnamese art performances include: Central Highlands gongs, Bac Ninh Quan Ho, Cheo, Chau Van, folk dances...

Diverse cultures of many countries will converge in Hanoi.

International acts from: Japan, Russia, Cambodia, Mongolia, Pakistan, Iran, Cuba, Romania, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Palestine, Venezuela, UAE, Philippines…

Visitors can explore multi-national cuisines and participate in culinary workshops to learn about the signature dishes of many different cultures. All together, they create a vibrant cultural picture where art becomes a common language connecting humanity.

The festival is open to the public on October 11-12. For the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, audiences can register for free tickets on the event's official website .
