On August 24 and 25, the Vinh Hoa Commune Party Committee (An Giang province) held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term. The Congress discussed and agreed on 19 development targets, in which the total state budget revenue for 5 years reached 104.6 billion VND, the average budget revenue growth rate for 5 years reached 10%; the average income per capita in the area by 2030 reached 92 million VND/year. The poverty rate according to the multidimensional poverty standard by 2030 was below 2%, poor households among ethnic minorities decreased below 0.4%; maintaining non-key, complicated communes in terms of social order and safety...

The Congress announced the decision of the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee to appoint 27 comrades to join the Executive Committee of Vinh Hoa Commune Party Committee; 9 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the Commune Party Committee. Comrade Nguyen Hong Phong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Vinh Hoa Commune Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
