In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Phu Lam Commune Party Committee set out specific targets such as: Total state budget revenue for 5 years reaches 566 billion VND; the average growth rate of total product value in the area is 8%/year; total social investment capital for the 2026 - 2030 period is 6,300 billion VND; average income per capita by 2030 reaches 70 million VND, an increase of 5.2 million VND compared to 2025. The rate of poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards by 2030 is under 2%. The rate of schools meeting national standards is 66.67%. The rate of people participating in health insurance is over 97%. The rate of trained workers in the total number of workers by 2030 is 75%. The rate of party members and grassroots party organizations completing their annual tasks well is over 90%.

Focusing resources on planning and investing in traffic connections with neighboring areas, anticipating the spread from Tan Chau urban area; proposing the province to plan the construction of industrial and handicraft clusters; upgrading traffic infrastructure, gradually concretizing intra-field traffic, serving agricultural production. At the same time, strengthening the building and rectification of the Party and a clean and strong political system; Building a team of qualified and competent staff to meet job requirements.

At the same time, Phu Lam focuses on developing agriculture in the direction of concentrated, sustainable commodity production, linking value chains, forming concentrated specialized areas, producing high-value, competitive goods, and increasing profits per unit area. The commune actively participates in the project of sustainable development of 1 million hectares of high-quality, low-emission specialized rice associated with green growth in the Mekong Delta by 2030, ensuring that the area increases each crop in the current 2-year, 5-crop production cycle. Linking agriculture with industrial and service development, contributing to job creation, improving income, material and spiritual life of the people.

Phu Lam will also promote the development of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation in all fields; build a digital society, digital economy, digital government through the movement "Digital Education for All". The locality focuses on developing digital infrastructure, digital data, improving the capacity to access and apply new technologies, creating a foundation for rapid and sustainable development. At the same time, prioritize budget allocation to repair and upgrade infrastructure in accordance with planning and actual conditions. Strictly manage resources and minerals; strictly handle violations.
