An Giang province delegation visited the Consulate General of Vietnam in Preah Sihanouk province.

At the reception, Vietnamese Consul General in Preah Sihanouk province Lai Xuan Chien informed that in recent times, the relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia has been growing stronger. This is the result of the continuous efforts from both sides in cultivating friendship and cooperation.

The Consul General highly appreciated the working delegations of An Giang province when they visited the provinces of the Kingdom of Cambodia, which contributed significantly to promoting and strengthening the good relationship between the two sides.

Vietnamese Consul General in Preah Sihanouk province Lai Xuan Chien said he is always ready to welcome and support working delegations from An Giang province; hoping to continue to receive close and regular cooperation from working delegations from the province, because each visit not only has diplomatic significance, but also serves as a bridge to strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countries.

Speaking at the visit, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho expressed his appreciation for the sentiments and support from the Vietnamese Consulate General in Preah Sihanouk Province. He expressed his excitement for the wholehearted support and companionship of the Consulate General, especially in the activities of Team K92 when performing their duties in Cambodia.

The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang province informed about the situation of An Giang province after the merger with a large area, large population, increasingly developing socio-economy, especially in agricultural production, tourism, and increased budget revenue. In particular, the Party Committee of An Giang province has just successfully organized the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030. This is an important political event of the Party Committee and People of An Giang province, an important milestone in the new development path of the province and the whole country, entering the era of national development.
