On October 14, the Veterans Association of Tran Lam ward, Luong Bang commune held the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.

During the past term, the Association of War Veterans in Tran Lam Ward promoted the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively participated in building and protecting the Party, the government and the people, consolidating the great national unity bloc; participated in socio -economic development, and strengthened national defense and security. The Association has over 100 members participating in activities in clubs for drug prevention and combat and social evils; over 500 members participating in self-managed groups and teams for security, order and traffic safety in residential areas. In the period of 2022 - 2025, the officers and members of the Association of War Veterans in the ward mobilized 1.3 billion VND to support local social and charity funds.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Veterans Association of Tran Lam Ward strives for 100% of its cadres and members to be exemplary in implementing the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; 100% of the branches are clean and strong, contributing to building Tran Lam Ward into a modern and dynamic urban and service center.

In the past term, the cadres and members of the Association of War Veterans of Luong Bang commune have united, strived, proactively deployed and completed their tasks well. The Association of War Veterans of the commune focused on propagating and mobilizing members to raise their sense of self-reliance, helping each other develop the economy, improve their lives and carry out charitable activities well; providing credit guarantees to credit institutions for members to borrow capital, with a total amount of more than 7 billion VND for economic development; organizing 25 sessions of legal education and dissemination for over 2 thousand people Officers and members. 4 self-managed veteran groups for crime prevention and social evils prevention and control and 2 self-managed veteran groups for traffic safety and order maintenance maintain effective operations.

In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Association determined to continue promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively participating in building and protecting the Party, the government, and the people; participating in educating the young generation on patriotism and revolutionary traditions; helping each other develop the economy and improve their lives. The Association strives to have over 96% of association organizations, over 85% of cadres and members fulfill their tasks well or better, and over 70% of war veteran households reach the well-off and rich levels.

At the congresses, decisions were announced to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Tran Lam ward, Luong Bang commune, term I, 2025 - 2030; and to appoint a delegation to attend the congress at a higher level.
