Dong Nai builds tourist routes and destinations connecting Long Thanh Airport

Accordingly, the draft Plan to survey and build tourist routes and spots connecting Long Thanh Airport is receiving comments from relevant departments, branches and the Provincial Tourism Association.

Deputy Director of Dong Nai Province Tourism Promotion Center Tran Thi Thu Trang said: With the goal of building a practical, high-value experience program with nature discovery journeys, associated with historical and cultural values, ethnic minority community life; visiting relics and scenic spots, and experiencing agriculture , enjoying local specialties in the northern region of Dong Nai province with destinations such as: Bu Gia Map National Park, historical relics, saluting the flag at border markers, exploring cashew production facilities in the "capital" of cashew exports of Vietnam... the construction of tourism products connecting Long Thanh Airport will create opportunities for Dong Nai tourism to position the image of a new, attractive destination, promote tourism communications, affirm Dong Nai's position as a new tourism center of the Southeast region, capable of attracting domestic and international tourists.

Therefore, the destination survey program is the basis for tourism product development units to consult with businesses and tourism experts, aiming at sustainable development goals, increasing the length of stay and spending of tourists, combined with promoting the consumption of agricultural products and local traditional handicrafts, contributing to job creation and improving community life from tourism.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Thu Trang, the special tours/tour routes connecting Long Thanh Airport aim to serve many groups of customers (international, domestic, transit, business...) with flexible forms such as: tours departing from Long Thanh Airport to visit Dong Nai and surrounding areas; tours ending at Long Thanh Airport, convenient for tourists after the tour; tours with diverse durations: during the day, short days and long days.

Tourism products are expected to be of high quality, attractive, associated with cultural - historical, ecological - resort characteristics and community experiences. Thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Dong Nai tourism, creating a driving force for socio-economic development when Long Thanh Airport comes into operation. The survey program is expected to be implemented in December 2025.
