European Union Ambassador to Vietnam visits and works in Son La province

On the afternoon of February 18, 2025, the Ambassador of the European Union to Vietnam met and worked with the leaders of Son La province . Receiving the Ambassador and the delegation, Son La province had comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, comrade Dang Ngoc Hau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders and experts of the following agencies: Foreign Affairs; Planning and Investment; Finance; Natural Resources and Environment; Industry and Trade; Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation received and worked with the Delegation .

At the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of Son La province, comrade Nguyen Dinh Viet - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee briefly informed about the socio -economic development, national defense - security, foreign affairs of Son La province; the potentials and advantages of the province; hoped that in the coming time, the Ambassador will support Son La province in cooperation and investment programs with partners in the European Union. In particular, helping to connect and support Son La province in promoting tourism and consuming the province's agricultural products in the European market.

Mr. Julien Guerrier - Ambassador of the European Union to Vietnam thanked the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the provincial departments and branches for their thoughtful and respectful welcome and wished to visit and learn more about Son La province to strengthen the relationship between the Embassy and the province, to be a bridge for investment cooperation in the province, especially in the fields of agriculture, agricultural exports, projects on climate change response, natural disaster prevention... contributing to bringing the cooperation between Vietnam and the European Union increasingly deeper and more effective./.
