The quality of training, combat readiness, and building of a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary, typical" unit have many progressive changes; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee and organization have been improved; the internal unity and stability of the Regiment, and officers and soldiers have high determination in performing their tasks.

In the coming time, General Nguyen Tan Cuong requested the 12th Corps in general and Division 312 and Regiment 165 in particular to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions, commands, directives and guidance documents from above on military and national defense work.
