From the brilliant Party flag in the digital space, the technology globe of Vietnam News Agency, the historic loudspeaker of VOV, to the vibrant display booth of VTV, the Vietnamese revolutionary press at the National Achievements Exhibition is like a special 'army'.
Immersive experience
In the heroic atmosphere at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), the Exhibition “80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness Journey” attracted millions of visitors from all over the country. Among thousands of diverse display areas, the booths of press agencies stood out as memorable emotional highlights.
The most touching is the exhibition area “95 years of the Party flag lighting the way” of Nhan Dan Newspaper, where AR/VR technology and light mapping recreate the revolutionary journey from the early days to 13 Party Congresses. The interactive space helps viewers “travel through time”, reliving historical milestones such as the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the image of the shining Party flag, or 13 Party Congresses appearing right before their eyes.

Mr. Bui Tuan Anh ( Vinh Phuc ) emotionally shared: “In the past, I did not study history in a continuous way like this. Coming here, I have a deeper understanding. I am thinking in my head, when my children go to high school, I will definitely take them to visit museums or similar exhibition spaces so that they can understand more than just reading textbooks.” These shares show that when history is told with modern technology, the press becomes an emotional bridge between the past and the present.

Next is the space of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), located near the entrance of hall 8, featuring an open design and a multimedia technology globe in the center. The theme "Official news sources - Main news" is clearly shown through 4 display categories, recreating the 80-year journey of accompanying the country. From the first historical news bulletin, the Dien Bien Phu news bulletin, to the victory news on April 30, 1975... all clearly demonstrate the key role in the national press system.

At the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) space, many visitors were stunned when they saw the giant loudspeaker - a "silent journalist" bearing the marks of time and bullet holes. This loudspeaker once resonated up to 10 km, present on the north bank of Ben Hai River, transmitting music, drama, and patriotic propaganda throughout the 21 years of resistance war. Not only that, VOV also launched the VR project "Returning to the sacred moment", bringing viewers back to the Presidential Palace on September 2, 1945, when Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence. Ms. Do Thu Hien (Hai Phong) was moved: "When it came to the part Xin the, xin the, I burst into tears...".
Meanwhile, at the Vietnam Television (VTV) space, the atmosphere was full of youthfulness and excitement. Visitors lined up to experience being an MC, explore Robocon robots or receive gifts from VTV Times. Future education activities for children and technology experiences for robot lovers made the VTV space lively, friendly and inspiring.

Accompanying the nation
This exhibition of national achievements has clearly shown one thing: The press not only reflects reality, but is also a special "army" on the ideological and cultural front, accompanying the country's development journey over the past 80 years.
Since the early days of the revolution, the press has been a sharp weapon. From Uncle Ho's article in Nguoi Cung Kho, the birth of Thanh Nien Newspaper, Co Giai Phong... kindled the fighting spirit. During the resistance war, the VOV wave, newspapers printed in secret bunkers, loudspeakers on the banks of Hien Luong... became "frontline reporters", nurturing the will and encouraging confidence. The press not only reported the news, but also contributed to creating the strength of great solidarity, leading to victory.

In peacetime, the press continues its role as a companion, reflecting the country's innovation and development. From news bulletins to investigative reports, from media campaigns to entertainment programs, the press contributes to orienting public opinion, spreading good values, and promoting social progress. Especially in the digital transformation period, press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, VNA, VOV, VTV... have boldly applied new technology, bringing history, culture, and science closer to the public.
The images of millions of people visiting the exhibition, absorbed in the journalistic artifacts, show the undiminished appeal of this special "army". The press does not stand outside the flow, but always joins every step of the country - from the first days of building a new country, in the rain of bombs and bullets, to the integration and development process today.

The exhibition not only introduces achievements, but also honors the press as a part of those achievements. Looking back, we can see that: without the loudspeakers on the banks of Hien Luong, without the Nhan Dan newspaper to guide the way, without VTV news every night... then the historical memory and the development journey of the country could hardly be recorded so fully and vividly.
With the role of both witness, soldier and bridge, the press deserves to be called a special "army" - a force that does not hold guns but contributes to victory, not only reporting but also creating trust, not only reflecting but also arousing aspirations. And at today's National Achievement Exhibition, the mark of the press once again affirms: the press will always accompany the nation, continuing to write new pages of history of the "80-year journey for Independence - Freedom - Happiness".
The press also vividly demonstrated the country's achievements at the Exhibition through the work of press agencies and journalists bringing information to readers on media, newspapers, social networking platforms, to all regions of the country and abroad.
