Car license plate auction: "Five noble" numbers 37K-888.88 reached 2,605 billion VND

On the evening of October 20, the Traffic Police Department announced that Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company (VPA) had just successfully organized the first day of the 8th vehicle license plate auction.

According to the previously approved plan, the 8th auction listed more than 1.77 million license plates of 34 provinces and cities.

According to statistics on license plate auctions on October 20, the Traffic Police Department in coordination with relevant units successfully auctioned 1,222 license plates with an estimated revenue of over 62.8 billion VND.

Of which, 493 car license plates, expected to collect more than 50.8 billion VND, 729 motorbike license plates, expected to collect nearly 12 billion VND.

License plate 37K-888.88 was paid up to 2,605 billion VND

The five car license plates with the highest winning prices of the day were 37K-888.88 (VND 2.605 billion); 51N-222.22 (VND 1.77 billion); 79A-777.79 (VND 855 million); 89A-989.89 (VND 730 million) and 51B-966.66 (VND 615 million).

The five motorbike license plates with the highest winning prices of the day were 79AA-888.88 (VND 758 million); 49AA-567.89 (VND 223.5 million); 43AB-555.55 (VND 213.5 million); 99AA-333.33 (VND 195.5 million) and 68AC-222.22 (VND 166 million).

In total, since the license plate auction began, over 150,000 license plates have been successfully auctioned. The total amount of revenue collected for the budget is over 8,100 billion VND.
