Quang Tri leaders "push" the progress of T&T Group's investment projects in the province

On the afternoon of October 20, representatives of T&T Group Corporation and the People's Committee of Quang Tri province had a working session regarding the implementation of research, survey and investment projects in the province.

At the meeting, a representative of T&T Group said that the group of real estate projects being researched and implemented includes: Gio Hai service - tourism area with a scale of 13.45 hectares and a total investment of 3,690 billion VND, built in Cua Viet commune; Eastern urban area of ​​Dong Ha city (old) with a total investment of about 10,000 billion VND, a scale of 48.96 hectares; Cam Lo complex urban area, resort and golf course built in Cam Lo commune with a scale of about 378.88 hectares, a total estimated investment of 20,000 billion VND; Quang Tri Aviation - Logistics - Service - Trade and Airport Urban Complex, the investor proposed to build with a scale of about 10,800 hectares; Quang Tri Airport project is under construction with a total investment of VND 5,821,073 billion and a project implementation period of 50 years.

Gio Hai Service - Tourism Area Project has a total investment of 3,690 billion VND, invested by T&T Group Joint Stock Company in Quang Tri.

The group of energy projects includes: Hai Lang LNG Project Phase 1 with a capacity of 1,500 MW, investment capital of 59,415.52 billion VND; Quang Tri LNG Project with a total investment of about 58,000 billion VND, capacity of 1,500 MW; 220 kV Transmission Line Project connecting Savan 1 Wind Power Plant from Laos to Vietnam, the section passing through Vietnam territory is 15 km long, including 45 220 kV power poles connected to Lao Bao 220 kV Transformer Station, land use area of ​​2.86 ha; Quang Binh Biomass Power Plant is being proposed for investment.

The spiritual project group includes: Ba Long historical relic site with an estimated total project investment of 12.5 billion VND; Upgrading and embellishing the historical relic "The place where 16 youth volunteers died at Long Dai ferry II" (completed and put into use on September 18, 2025).

Representatives of T&T Group also reported specifically on the implementation status of projects and difficulties and obstacles in carrying out legal procedures, site clearance for projects and proposed to prepare investment dossiers for renewable energy projects approved in the Power Plan VIII (adjusted), with a total capacity of about 1,071.5 MW (including 11 wind power projects and 3 solar power projects).

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien emphasized that for energy projects, it is necessary to calculate and arrange suitable resettlement areas, on the basis of which projects need to build resettlement areas first, then arrange and deploy construction promptly to speed up site clearance progress, ensuring stable lives for people.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam requested that for projects with approved investment policies, relevant agencies and investors focus all their efforts to speed up project implementation progress.

Regarding the Gio Hai Service - Tourism Area project, the investor is requested to urgently complete the construction procedures for the 15-storey building in the fourth quarter of 2025; focus on human resources, machinery and equipment, overtime, and shift work to put the project into operation in the fourth quarter of 2026; assign the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to focus on resolving difficulties and problems in the project implementation process. At the same time, Vice Chairman Hoang Nam assigned the Department of Construction and the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board to guide the investor in implementing the traffic connection to National Highway 9D according to regulations. Assign the Department of Agriculture and Environment to complete related land procedures...
