A pickup truck was traveling on the Ho Chi Minh Highway through Ha Lan Commune, Dak Lak Province when it suddenly caught fire. In a moment, the fire engulfed the entire vehicle.

On the evening of October 20, information from the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Police said that at around 7:00 p.m. the same day, a Mazda BT-50 pickup truck with license plate 15K-477.46 driven by driver Vu Van Tuan (born in 1978, residing in Hai Phong City) was traveling on Ho Chi Minh Road in the direction from Buon Ho Commune to Buon Ma Thuot Ward.

Within minutes, the car was engulfed in flames.

When the car reached the Ha Lan Pass area, the car suddenly had a problem with the throttle and could not move. At this time, driver Tuan stopped the car and took out the key. However, a few minutes later, a fire suddenly broke out in the engine compartment and spread to the entire body of the car. Due to the steep terrain and strong winds, the fire quickly spread, engulfing the entire body of the car.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting Team of Zone 2 of the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Dak Lak Province Police dispatched two fire trucks and 12 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

By around 7:30 p.m., the fire was under control. Although there were no casualties, the car was severely damaged.
