Today, August 12, the 17th Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) held its 16th Conference, chaired by Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Lan Huong and Vice Chairmen of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

Here, with a high sense of responsibility, the members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City gave many profound, specific and practical opinions to discuss the following contents: unifying the contents of the work of the 18th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City, term 2024-2029; contributing comments to the Draft Political Report of the 10th National Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Nguyen Lan Huong acknowledged that the opinions expressed at the Conference were in high agreement with the contents of preparations for the organization of the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi City, term 2024-2029 and there were many enthusiastic opinions contributing to the draft Political Report to be submitted to the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029. Based on the opinions of the elders and gentlemen, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City will fully absorb them to synthesize and send to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Affirming that there are only 9 days left until the 18th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi, term 2024-2029, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong stated: in order to successfully organize the Congress, immediately after this Conference, the Logistics Subcommittee of the Congress will send to the delegates and guests documents and gifts of the Congress, thereby requesting the elders and dignitaries to continue studying the documents, grasp the Regulations and schedule of the Congress, promote the spirit of responsibility and actively participate in the activities of the Congress. In particular, heads of delegations need to grasp the number and composition of their delegations, coordinate to inform the members of the delegations about the required contents of the Congress so that the activities take place on schedule, ensuring quality, efficiency and substance.

In addition, the Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested member organizations and the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels to organize widespread propaganda about the Congress documents, peaking from now until August 25, 2024. In particular, focusing on visual propaganda, on the website system, fanpage, large screens at the headquarters of agencies and units; organizing inaugurations, installing signs of works welcoming the Congress, cultural and artistic activities welcoming the Congress..., to create a spreading effect so that the Congress is truly a festival of all classes of people in the capital.

In addition, units assigned to organize important events such as forums and cultural festivals to celebrate the success of the Congress need to base on the established plan to be proactive and active in the preparation work. At the same time, continue to closely coordinate with the specialized departments and the Office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City to prepare the contents of the Congress; take advantage of the leadership of the Party Committee and the coordination of the government to create all favorable conditions for the activities to take place successfully.
