Proposal to handle the illegal exploitation and transportation of soil at the traffic route project from Ea Ho to Tam Giang

The Management Board of the project for investment in construction of traffic works and agriculture for rural development in Dak Lak province (Board A) has just issued a document requesting to handle the situation of illegal excavation, exploitation and transportation of soil on the route of the traffic road project from Ea Ho to Tam Giang (Project).

The project, invested by Board A, started construction in February 2023 and has completed about 24% of the value and volume. Construction is currently suspended due to lack of land.

Through on-site inspection, the investor and related units confirmed that illegal land exploitation (digging, excavating and transporting to other places) occurred at the section Km2+540 to Km3+140 in Krong Nang commune, with an estimated volume of 2,200 m³. This action changed the natural state, causing direct damage to property and earth materials used for construction.

To promptly prevent and thoroughly handle the above situation, Board A requests the People's Committee and the Krong Nang Commune Police to inspect, verify, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the law to prevent and stop similar acts that may affect future projects.

The road project from Ea Ho to Tam Giang is more than 10 km long, passing through Phu Loc and Ea Ho communes and Krong Nang town (now Krong Nang commune), with a total investment of 140 billion VND, of which the central budget is 134 billion VND and the local budget is 6 billion VND.
