On February 27, the Vietnam Organic Magazine Journalists Association held a Congress to summarize the term and set out development directions. The Congress emphasized the role of journalism in organic agriculture , proposed solutions to improve quality, digital transformation and expand cooperation, towards a modern and effective journalism.


On February 27, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Organic Magazine Journalists Association held a Congress to summarize the work of the past term and set out directions and tasks for the coming time. The Congress was attended by a large number of members, journalists and guests, including Ms. Vu Thi Ha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association , Head of the Vietnam Journalists Association Working Committee; Dr. Ha Phuc Mich - Party Cell Secretary, President of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association; Ms. Dinh Thi Thu Trang - Deputy Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Chief of Office of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association. The Congress focused on discussing the development orientations of journalism in the context of digital transformation and integration.

Mr. Do Ngoc Thi, Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of Vietnam Organic Magazine, pointed out the important role of the press in accurately and objectively reflecting the development of organic agriculture and the policies of the State. He affirmed that in the current context, the press needs to adapt to the rapid changes in technology, take advantage of digital platforms to improve communication efficiency and connect with readers. At the same time, he also proposed a number of solutions to improve the quality of content and increase the depth of articles.

He also proposed retraining skills for journalists, helping them use technology more effectively in their work, while focusing on verifying information to ensure accuracy and transparency.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Vu Thi Ha - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Head of the Association's Working Committee, emphasized the role of the press in promoting organic agriculture, and proposed to enhance professional training and support members to adapt to modern journalism trends. She affirmed that training and updating new knowledge will help improve the quality of journalists specializing in this field.

Ms. Vu Thi Ha also acknowledged the efforts of the Journalists Association over the past year, with many practical classes, meeting the needs of members. In particular, she expressed her confidence in the remarkable progress of the Vietnam Organic Magazine, under the leadership and support of the Association, committed to organizing journalism awards in an objective, public, transparent and effective manner. She emphasized the interest and facilitation of the Vietnam Organic Agriculture Association for the Magazine, especially in the current context. Ms. Vu Thi Ha suggested that the Magazine should continue to strictly implement the Press Law and the 10 regulations on professional ethics of Vietnamese journalists, to promote its role in informing and orienting public opinion.

At the congress, the Secretariat of the Journalists Association of Organic Agriculture Magazine was elected to ensure effective leadership and management in the new term. Mr. Do Ngoc Thi and Ms. Vu Thi Hoa were elected to the Secretariat of the Journalists Association of Vietnam Organic Magazine. The new Secretariat is expected to continue to promote its role of connecting and supporting members in professional activities, improving the quality of journalistic works and expanding cooperation with related units.
