Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad visited and worked in Tuyen Quang province

The delegation included Mr. Pham Thanh Binh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs , Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to China and concurrently to the Federated States of Micronesia, and other members of the delegation.

Receiving and working with the delegation were comrades: Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments, branches, agencies, units of the province; leaders of districts and cities.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son delivered a welcome speech to the delegation who visited and worked in Tuyen Quang province on this occasion. He gave an overview of Tuyen Quang province, the place that is honored and proud to be the Capital of the Liberation Zone - the Capital of Resistance where Uncle Ho, the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the Government, ministries, departments and branches lived and worked during the period of fighting against French colonialism.

He affirmed that in recent times, Tuyen Quang province has made efforts to implement solutions to focus on economic and social development, improving people's lives. In particular, the province has paid great attention to preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, promoting the province's strengths in agriculture, forestry, tourism, services... and achieved important results.

At the same time, we hope that through the working session, we will continue to receive more attention and support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad, international organizations, and foreign enterprises in Vietnam in connecting, spreading, and promoting the image, traditional cultural values, and attractive investment environment of Tuyen Quang province. The province always wishes and is ready to welcome and create the most favorable conditions for investors, especially attracting investment from abroad...

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang highly appreciated Tuyen Quang province for its efforts and achievements in all fields, including foreign affairs and international cooperation, and diplomacy has made important strides.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Son delivered a welcome speech to the delegation visiting and working in the province.

He also shared the difficulties that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province experienced during the floods caused by storm No. 3 in 2024.

With its assigned functions and tasks, in recent times, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has increased cooperation activities with foreign countries, promoted cooperation activities between Vietnam and other countries, and strengthened cooperation between localities nationwide and foreign localities, including Tuyen Quang.

The positive results achieved in diplomatic work have contributed to raising the position of our country in the international arena. He also emphasized that the information at the working session of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with localities, including Tuyen Quang province, will help ambassadors have full information before going abroad to perform their assigned tasks well.

At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Tuyen Quang province briefly reported on the socio-economic development situation, the results of the province's foreign affairs work and the province's proposals and recommendations to the Heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad for the 2024-2027 term, and the areas in which the province wishes to cooperate with localities abroad. The delegates also exchanged and discussed solutions to promote foreign affairs and international cooperation more effectively and further develop in the coming time.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ha Thi Nga emphasized that diplomatic work is extremely important in the context of the country's current international integration. She thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad for their valuable attention and assistance to Tuyen Quang province in recent times.

Therefore, in order for Tuyen Quang province to continue to make breakthroughs and develop further in the coming time, the province hopes that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vietnamese representative agencies abroad for the 2024-2027 term will continue to pay attention to helping and connecting the province in international cooperation work, promoting cooperation with localities abroad.
