Flood discharge is carried out through sluice gates and generators to ensure the safety of the project. Operators request local authorities and people in downstream areas to monitor, proactively respond, and ensure the safety of people and property.

Due to heavy rain, traffic on the main routes from Tuyen Quang Provincial Administrative Center to the northern mountainous communes of the province such as Ha Giang 1 Ward; Dong Van and Meo Vac communes... is at risk of congestion due to heavy rain and high risk of flooding. Many points and routes have a high risk of landslides.

Currently, Tuyen Quang province is focusing on overcoming the consequences of floods and preventing flooding. Military forces, police, border guards, youth union members and people urgently clean up mud, waste, dredge sewers, check the dyke system, dams to ensure safety. The transport sector organizes inspections, warns of landslide-prone areas, arranges forces to be on duty to guide and direct traffic safely. The electricity and telecommunications sectors urgently fix problems, ensure communication and restore power to affected areas.

The People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province recommends that people regularly monitor weather forecasts and warnings; do not go through deeply flooded or landslide areas; limit travel during heavy rains; strictly follow the instructions of local authorities and functional forces to ensure the safety of life and property in the upcoming complicated rainy and flood days.

On the same morning, the search for the last victim of the landslide in Lung Cu on September 30 was underway with the mobilization of additional machinery and personnel. Due to heavy rain, the search was very difficult. The risk of further landslides was high, so inspection and observation were carried out in parallel with the search for victims. To date, the authorities have found 3/4 of the bodies of the victims in the landslide. The authorities are actively searching for the remaining victims.
