Hung Thang Loi Gia Lai Company Limited - a subsidiary of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group (stock code: HAG) - has just adjusted the terms of a VND1,000 billion bond to allocate capital for mulberry and coffee planting projects in Vietnam and Laos.
Specifically, Hung Thang Loi Gia Lai added information on the appendices of business cooperation contracts between this company and other enterprises of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Group such as Gia Lai Livestock Company, Lo Pang Livestock Company, Bolaven Sturgeon Seafood Company, and Phu Quy Gia Lai Agriculture Company.

The appendix of the cooperation contract with these units was also updated and amended. Specifically, Gia Lai Livestock Company cooperated to grow Arabica coffee and mulberry in Gia Lai province (Vietnam).
Lo Pang Livestock Company to implement the plan to grow Arabica coffee in Gia Lai, Bolaven Sturgeon Seafood Company to grow Arabica coffee in Champasak province (Laos), Phu Quy Gia Lai Agriculture Company to grow mulberry in Attapeu province (Laos).
For the 1,000 billion VND of issued bonds, Hung Thang Loi Gia Lai changed the value of business cooperation. The total cooperation remains at 1,950 hectares, including 1,050 hectares of coffee and 900 hectares of mulberry.
However, the investment capital for the coffee project with Gia Suc Lo Pang increased from 250 billion VND to 277 billion VND, while the cooperation project with Bolaven Sturgeon Aquaculture in Laos decreased from 180 billion VND to 153 billion VND.

Growing mulberry and coffee is a completely new plan of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, announced by Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc (Bau Duc) in June, at the annual meeting with shareholders. He said the goal is to grow 4,000 hectares of coffee and 2,000 hectares of mulberry for silk, aiming for export.
Specifically, this year, Hoang Anh Gia Lai will invest in 2,000 hectares of mulberry for silk production. This type of tree has been tested since the end of 2024 and the indicators have been completed.
Regarding coffee, Mr. Duc said he plans to plant 2,000 hectares of coffee this year and another 2,000 hectares next year, for a total of 4,000 hectares.
