Vietnamese business sells shooting training simulation system to the Philippines

Accordingly, the latest contract signed by Viettel High Technology Industry Corporation was signed with ContactPoint, Inc (Philippines).

ContactPoint provides solutions and equipment for both government , individual and corporate customers, specifically: Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Philippine Air Force, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Bureau of Customs of the Philippines.

Previously, in March 2024, Viettel signed the first contract with a commitment to deploy shooting simulation systems designed specifically for the characteristics of the Philippine National Police force.

The system, with core technology mastered by Viettel and highly customizable, has been supplemented with more than 90% new features according to customer training requirements.

In particular, Viettel has developed a recoil generator in the simulation system, supporting specific guns such as Glock, Taurus and M16 Rifle, and developed a new shooting training software module, helping to improve the quality of training and combat preparation.

Highly appreciating the products of Vietnamese enterprises, Mr. Cesar Jr. Manuel, CEO of ContactPoint, said: “We have searched many places but there is no partner in the world that can customize the product according to our needs like Viettel. Moreover, Viettel's prices are extremely competitive compared to other suppliers.”

Mr. Radel Ramos, Director of Training - Philippine National Police, believes: "Viettel not only brings advanced technological solutions but also helps our force improve training capacity significantly, in accordance with the practical conditions of the Philippines".

The success of the shooting training simulation system is a testament to the technological capacity of Viettel in particular and Vietnam in general, thanks to being built on many years of research and development.
